Among respondents currently managing patients with agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia, 91% of respondents believed that there is a stigma associated with agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia, 93% endorsed that stigma associated with agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia negatively impacts patient care, and 96% reported that the healthcare community needs more educational resources about stigma in agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia.1
